Responsible Growth

This Council is working to have Bellingham be a vibrant city with a thriving infrastructure and sustainable vital economy.

Council recommended to the County that no new UGA’s (Urban Growth Areas) be added to current land supply.
Improvement of multi-modal transportation – WTA Go lines as an example.
Council is consolidating the current Bike/Ped Committee and the Parking Commission into a Transportation Commission to broaden transportation planning and coordinating efforts.
I continue to assist neighborhood associations to get their neighborhood plan updates docketed.
