Fiscal Responsibility

The CoB main revenue sources – property, sales, and business and occupation taxes – have plummeted, necessitating major reductions in city services while trying to maintain essential community services.

The current revenue forecasts call for $6 Million in service cuts. I served on a taskforce charged with developing recommendations for 2010 budget cuts. The report to the Mayor and his recommendations come back to Council this summer for final decisions.
